On October 25, 2024, on the initiative of the project team for ‘Environmental Monitoring in the Context of European Integration’ (MEOUE), implemented within the framework of EU international technical assistance (Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module), a lecture was delivered to the 11th grade of Kalush Lyceum №2 in the city of Kalush. Professor S.A. Kurta, Doctor of Technical Sciences, presented detailed maps of the Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions, showing precise data on the monitoring of gas concentrations, including CO, CO₂, H₂S, NO, NO₂, CH₂O, and gamma radiation contamination across all areas of the region, including border areas with Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland. Air pollution monitoring, with consideration of European experience, is essential for a life free of pollution.
Special thanks to chemistry teacher Lyubov Yevhenivna Havryliuk, a top-tier certified educator, for making this possible.”
