Working Moments and Outcomes of the First Year of the MEOEU Project (ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet), implemented by the Department of Chemistry at PNU, within the framework of EU international technical assistance.
Achievements:
- Raising educators’ awareness in the region on the importance of environmental monitoring and public ecological literacy (two webinars attended by 70 teachers and open lectures in regional schools);
- Conducting a practicum for chemistry students as part of the project;
- Updating the course curriculum for chemistry students;
- Developing a new lecture course for various specializations;
- Exchanging experience on water monitoring with Rzeszów University of Technology and preparing a cooperation agreement.
There are still two more years ahead and plenty of exciting ideas. Let’s keep working for change and victory!
