On October 1, 2021, a competition has begun a competition for state nominal scholarships for the best young scientists to commemorate the events of the Revolution of Dignity and honor the feats of the Heroes of Ukraine – Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. The relevant decision was approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
As you know, every year for the Day of Dignity and Freedom, 25 scholarships are awarded to young scientists for one year. Scientists, scientific and pedagogical workers, post-graduate students, associate professors, doctoral students of higher educational institutions and scientific institutions can be nominated for scholarships.
The selection of applicants will take place in five nominations:
- Dmitry Maksimov Scholarship;
- Nazariy Voitovich Scholarship;
- Roman Gurik Scholarship;
- Ustim Golodnyuk Scholarship;
- Yuri Popravka Scholarship.
The age of applicants may not exceed 35 years for persons with higher education not lower than the master’s level, and 40 years for persons who have a doctorate or are studying for a doctorate.
A prerequisite for receiving a scholarship is that the applicant has significant scientific results in the scientific field in which the applicant works or studies, as well as an active civil position on the protection of democratic values and national interests of the state.
