Dear teachers, students, postgraduates and graduates of the Precarpathian National University!
Today, on May 14, our university community celebrates two significant dates – the University day and the birthday of Vasyl Stefanyk, a famous Ukrainian writer, public figure and politician, a patron of our University.
During the last years, the University has been a leader among the higher educational institutions of the Precarpathian region and occupies high positions in the Ukrainian and international rankings. In particular, we are ranked second among 2nd among domestic higher education institutions in the International scientometric rating SCImago Institutions Rankings. We are in the TOP 10 Ukrainian universities of the International rating U-Multirank and the TOP 20 of the HEI of Ukraine in popularity among entrants.
For more than eight decades, the Precarpathian University has been preserving the long-standing academic traditions of national education and science. Today the University is history and classics, development and innovation, openness and mobility combined with courage and responsibility. In addition, the University is made up of unique individuals that preserve its past, create its modernity, and lay a solid foundation for its promising future.
In today’s conditions, our team unconditionally chose the European development strategy, establishing and deepening cooperation with higher educational institutions of the European Union. It ensures the use of European experience for the training of competitive specialists.
Representatives of the University academic community take an active part in the socio-political processes and create the European educational and scientific space of Ukraine. They often defend the independence and territorial integrity of our state.
Today, on the birthday of our Alma mater, we would like to express our gratitude to each one of you. Your creative, selfless and conscientious work strengthens the belief that Precarpathian University will continue to flourish.
