For someone a new academic semester is beginning with lectures and practical classes, and for the 4th-year students of specialty 102 Chemistry the time has come to realize their acquired knowledge in industrial practice.
Ivanna Lapchuk, a student of the X–41 group, shares her impressions in the first days of practice on her Facebook page: “The beginning of the practice caused me only positive impressions in the Dniester basin management of water resources, as a matter of fact, learning in the laboratory that is equipped with modern analytical devices, allows chemical students to acquire new skills. For example, determination of toxic organic substances is carried out using a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer, and the presence of heavy metals in water is determined by means of the atomic-emission spectrometer. The ability to work with such devices requires significant preparation and understanding of the principle of their work. I can confidently say that expanding practical skills and preparing for independent labor activity in special establishments for us, the graduates of the specialty “Chemistry”, is the first step into the future of young analytical chemists.”
