Excursion of chemistry students to the factory for the production of “Tsypa” craft beer and “Rosenthal” cheeses in the village of Kvasy Rakhiv district, Zakarpattia region.

On Monday, October 2, 2023, a group of students of the specialty 102 Chemistry, from: X-11, X-21, X-31, X-41, X-2M from the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Precarpathian National University named after in. Stefanyk from the city of Ivano-Frankivsk under the supervision of Professor D.Sc. Serhiy Andriyovych Kurty made a planned career orientation trip and conducted an excursion to the village of Kvasy of Rakhiv district of Transcarpathian Oblast. 18 chemistry students had the opportunity to visit the modern enterprise of Craft Beer LLC, where 38 types of beer are produced through biochemical fermentation processes, and to conduct a tasting of such brands of beer as: “Hoverla, Petros, Blyznytsia, Tsypa, Svidovets, Hutsul”. Chemistry students also visited a local industrial cheese factory in the Vaskul tract, thanks to which they got to know more about how the food industry of Ukraine works for the production of sheep’s cheese and conducted a tasting of Brynza, Butsa and other hard cheeses of the eco-firm “Rosenthal”. All the participants of the trip got unforgettable impressions, made lots of pictures you can see and got a lot of new professional information.
