The Department of Chemistry is proud of the fact that research of Nazariy Danyliuk, a first-year master’s student, has been published in a such highly rated international journal as «Journal of Molecular Liquids» (SCOPUS, Impact Factor = 4.561, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.molliq.2020.113077). The review “Halloysite nanotubes and halloysite-based composites for environmental and biomedical applications”, co-authored by a first-year master’s student, a leading specialist of the Educational and Scientific Center of Materials Science and Nanotechnology of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University Nazariy Danyliuk, was published in this journal.
The aim of the study is to analyze the current state of research gallulose nanotubes as promising adsorbents of harmful substances, drug carriers, fillers for polymers and magnetic composites.
The article is co-authored by Professor of UTP University of Science and Technology (Bydgoszcz, Poland) Jolanta Tomaszewska and is the result of scientific cooperation initiated by Tetiana Tatarchuk – Associate Professor of Chemistry Department of Faculty of Natural Sciences, Director of the Educational and Scientific Center of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, Precarpathian University. It is not the first time when chemistry students under the guidance of Tetiana Tatarchuk are published in rating scientific journals of international level. She tries to create for students all the conditions for their development from the first year of studying, involves future chemists in scientific work and this, in turn, brings high achievements for our department and university.
