Today, on April 6, 2022, a remote plenary session of the Natural Sciences Section was held as part of the Reporting Scientific Conference of the University for 2021 involving teachers, doctoral students, postgraduates and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The total number of participants of the videoconference reached about 90 people.
Despite the work under quarantine restrictions, 2021 was a period of active exchange of scientific experience and knowledge for scientists of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
Viktor Sluchyk, dean of the faculty, opened the scientific conference with a welcoming speech. Volodymyr Shvadchak, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Assistant of the Biochemistry and Biotechnology Department, made a plenary report, presenting his scientific achievements on the topic: “Protein folding problem and Parkinson’s disease”.
During the discussion of the report, the participants of the online conference noted the relevance of the topic and the results of the study.
In general, the numerous achievements of the faculty’s scientists in 2021, constructive discussions at the conference and support for new ideas are a stable foundation for fruitful work, new research and discoveries.
