Associate professor of the Chemistry Department Tetiana Tatarchuk completed a 4-week training online course «Developing Skills for Women Leadership in Climate Action» on the Coursera platform and received a certificate.

This online course aims to empower and inspire women and girls to strengthen their leadership skills in order to deliver green climate initiatives rooted in the principles of inclusion and equity. The course was developed with support from the Fondation L’Oréal and with the participation of academics and experts from Columbia Climate School and CARE.

The course covers four weeks of classroom training and includes the following topics:

Week 1: Introduction to climate change and inclusive climate change action.

Week 2: Women at the heart of climate action.

Week 3: Taking the lead on inclusive climate action.

Week 4: Influencing change and staying resilient.
